See which products generate your revenue and which ones are unsold inventory.

  • "I don't know which products actually matter."

ABC classification ranks every product by revenue contribution, so your top 20% is obvious.

  • "I found out I was out of stock after the sale."

Low-stock alerts flag fast movers before they run out, based on your real sales pace.

  • "Some of my cash is just sitting on a shelf."

Questions

What is ABC inventory analysis?
It ranks your products by their share of total revenue and groups them into three tiers: A (your top revenue contributors), B (the middle group), and C (everything else). It's based on the 80/20 rule — a small share of products usually generates most of the revenue.
Does StockLens change my Shopify inventory?
No. StockLens only reads your product and order data. It never changes inventory counts, prices, or anything else in your store.
Does it work with product variants?
Yes. If a product has multiple variants — like size or color — their combined inventory and sales are shown as one row.
How does StockLens calculate revenue?
From the price actually charged after discounts, multiplied by the quantity actually kept (not refunded or removed), for orders placed in your selected date range.
How is dead stock identified?
A product with stock on hand that had zero sales in your selected date range.
Is StockLens safe to install?
It only requests access to read your products and orders. It can't see customer names, emails, addresses, or payment details, and it never stores your data on our servers — every report is generated live from Shopify and discarded after your browser receives it.
